Love is something that you give and show no matter what, that is unconditional love. When it comes to loving your natural hair it can be a love and hate relationship.
Its always good not to focus on were you are in your hair journey. Just always keep your eyes on the goals that you have for your natural hair.
Love Your Hair Length
Most of everyone wants long hair or even healthy hair. Healthy long hair starts with a healthy scalp. When it comes to the length of your hair you have to think positive and love the length your hair is at. Which ever stage of length your hair is know that there is a product that can exhilarate your hair growth. Be optimistic that there is a way and products that work.
Sometimes you can feel like you have hit a growth Plato were it seems that your hair just stops growing. This assumption is wrong hair never stops growing from the root. Above all it is time to really love your hair completely and give your strand some love and tender care.
When your hair starts breaking off there is a problem. Knowing there is a problem is the first step to fixing it. Therefore hair length is not everything scalp and hair health is the key to maintaining length.
Love Your Density
Density plays an significant roll in hair care. Thick hair,or thin hair, thick strands or thin strands. Furthermore there are a few differences when it comes to how much product is used for thick stands and thin strands. When you have a head of hair like myself that have thin strand and thick strands. This can be a little more tricky due to this issue. I switch in between thicker layers of products and thin also i add a thick layer of product on my thicker strands and add a thin layer on my thinner strands.
Thick hair will certainly need more product or just distribute the product evenly through out your hair. While on the other hand thin hair needs less product and can get away with only using oil at times. The objective here is to know how much product your hair will absorb. While still looking good and feeling healthy.
There are no secret formula’s that can make your hair strands thicker. Now if your hair has thinned out as in some of your hair fell out. Then and only then will your hairs density be able to become thicker not your hair strands.
Love Your Shedding
Shedding is actually a healthy part of hair growth. Hair grows in a cycle and shedding happens to be a step in the hair growth cycle. So don’t be unhappy when your hair starts to shed this is normal. On average hair sheds up to 100 strand a day.
Excessive shedding is something to be worried about. There are many reasons your hair could be excessively shedding. Medications, hormonal imbalance, postpartum shedding, stress and styling these are just a few reasons why your hair could be shedding.
Slowing down and minimizing hair shedding can be a simple task. There are lots of remedies that can be done to slow down and minimize hair shedding. One of the most popular ones is tea rinses, which i found to work well for issues like postpartum shedding.
Identifying shedding problems like when it started and what have you done differently in your routine. Narrowing down when the shedding started and what has changed. Doing this can really help to understand what remedies that you should use in order to fix your shedding issues.
Love Your Hair Patiently
Patients is virtue, meaning patients is righteous. Love is also patient and for you to love your natural hair patients is a must have. It can be a challenge at times but if i can be patient with my hair and i have to deal with four different textures and two different density’s, I know you can do it
Hair is like a plant it takes time to grow but with the right fertilizer it will grow faster. Good things come to those who wait. It can be hard at times when you want rapid hair growth but you have to maintain and love the hair that you have first. How to love your natural hair completely is the building blocks to success.
Love Your Hair With Care
Caring for your natural hair is not all about applying products. Handle your hair with care, when you care about some one or something you will handle them/it with care. Taking care of your hair is similar to taking care of a loved one or a new born baby.
Getting to know your hair is the first step in caring for your hair properly. The only way you can truly get to know your own hair is by washing it and styling it. Once you know what your hair needs then caring for it wont be so hard.
Love Your Hair Gently
Being gentle is all apart of loving your natural hair. Hair is made up of layers and hair ages and weather as it gets older. When you are ruff with your hair in any way you can cause damage to the layers of your hair. Once the damage is done there is no way to repair it.
Being gentle with your hair is like caring for a new born baby. The baby will respond better to someone who is providing love and gentle care. With that in mind being gentle may not seem important but you have to remember hair ages and weathers just like we do.
A consistent person does not give up, they will not quit consistency is key. Building a routine or regimen requires proper product selection and none toxic ingredients.
See your self with your goal length hair and believe that your hair will get there. Anything you do long term requires consistency.
Finding an all natural and organic hair product line like 7 day complete natural that works is essential. Even mixing your own natural and organic ingredients together to create a hair product can work as well.
One thing to keep in mind when mixing your own ingredients even store brought products. The ph of the products or ingredients that you use must always be ph tested, to insure proper scalp and hair ph balance.
Hair and scalp thrives best with products that have a ph range between 4.5 and 6. Its always best to use the higher ph first then come down gradually. Don’t forget to make your hair one of your top priorities on a consistent basis.
